Dear friends,
Greetings from Edinburgh! As I write this, I am cozied up under a blanket with a dear friend in our Airbnb, listening to music and digesting microwaved food we stocked from yesterday. I hope you are also surrounded by joy and warmth.
I took two photos of a coffee shop near where I’m staying in Keith. The café looks just as charismatic when closed, with a boyish stillness, as when it’s open, teeming with light. I’d like to think that we are all like this –– we do best when we hold the space for each other while also unplugging for a period of introspection –– and it makes life all the more lovable when we embrace the cycle.
I love you! Can’t wait to catch up soon :)
Warmly,
Erica
PS: I just finished reading The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali after Dorothy’s recommendation –– a beautiful, touching love story –– it still pulls at my heartstrings.
So beautiful!! Hope you're able to keep being cozy and that you keep seeing the beauty in seemingly ordinary things. Miss you!! ❤️
